THIS IS A GUEST POST BY HALA MOHAMED<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n This is exactly what I said; when I had read Lady's Gaga's interview for "Celebrity" magazine: I was being sarcastic. I felt it super ironic of her character to talk about such "stuff".<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n I thought: we dance to her beat, and we cannot control our feet!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n But advice? No, No, and one more No!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Then I read what she had said again, and I realized that she is so\/very right. And that I was wrong about my assumption. I admit it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n What she had said is quite priceless. I find it priceless concerning the fact that many Egyptian girls are not<\/em> even aware of it<\/em>! Sounds confusing, right?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Let me start from the start:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n As a twenty-year-old Egyptian girl – speaking of one particular matter: I can tell that many girls of our society perceive marriage as a mission; the ultimate objective, so to speak.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n I used to feel sorry for those girls, but NOW: Those girls just deserve what would happen later; when they "accomplish their mission". I bet you can already imagine it!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Needless to say, they are not interesting by any means.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n For example, you cannot have a proper conversation with them about politics or science.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n "Some women choose to follow men, and some women choose to follow their dreams.
