Dear Dorian Gray
Once upon a time
In the holy crucible of creation
God mixed the spirits of Dr. Hanibal Lecter and Count Dracula
And you were born
In a pitch black sky
When the moon comes full circle
I feel your presence with me and around me
I am reborn
Like the myth you are
There is something mystical about your presence
Wrap me up within your soul
I am yours
Devour me
Suck the life out of me
Consume me in that sexy freakiness of your aura
We are alike
Into my life let me welcome you
I feel anxious
A mixture of fear and excitement
Hello!
Dear MAN
I love the beginning of a relationship. I am addicted to the thrill. I get high on anxiety. I lose weight and years of my age just thinking of a date, a word that was said, a word that was left unsaid, a smile, or a glance. Hello!
Dear MAN
Let me tell you a secret! I have magical powers!! Yes!! Don't laugh! I have x-ray vision! No! No! No! I will not see through your clothes (wink) I can see through skin and flesh … I can see the soul within … I see the weaknesses, the bruises, the scars, and the insecurities as well as the strengths and the potential in people. This is why I have not been married before … and this is why my relationships end too fast … I either do not like the color of the soul or I freak the guy out
Dear MAN
You are Dorain Gray – A man who was cursed with endless youth and in his mirror he could see the truth as his soul ages with his sins. Hello Dorian! Bare your soul before my eyes for reality is too dry for me.
Dear MAN
I like Dorian … a myth .. a legend … a hero of my own creation … someone I cannot see through because he is made of imagination … someone I cannot "fix" because he is made of perfection … someone I cannot hurt because he is an extension of myself. Hello!
Dear YOU
I do not know the real you but looking at Dorian's portrait I can tell that you could be one of two things; greatness waiting to happen or failure repeated over and over. I am allergic to this word: FAILURE – such a horrible word! I also do not like FRUSTRATION – it is another horrible word. If you are a lazy laid back switched off guy who lives in a dark maze and sees the world through a black lens then I do not want to see you … at all. I would rather fly in the imaginary world of Dorian than crash … again … in the world of a man who is lesser than the woman that I am.
So … what's it going to be? Hello? Or Goodbye?
